100 Word Challenge for Grown Ups – Week#52

This is a weekly challenge for those who are over 16 and enjoy challenging themselves with writing. Each week you are given a prompt. It may be a few connected words, a selection of individual words or a picture.

You have 100 words (or the number that have been set for that week) plus the prompt to write a creative piece.

One of the great things about the 100WCGU is how people visit other blogs and read the entries.

It is all about supporting our writing and giving constructive feedback and support. For some, it is the start of longer pieces of writing, even novels!!

The prompt this week

The prompt for this week continues along those simple lines that you all like ( I will have my revenge later *evil cackle*!)

Please use 100 words to produce a creative piece with this prompt:-

…together the flames…

My Entry

The sun was setting in the Olympic village and night was drawing in. Billy and Mandy was making their way toward the exit when something caught there eyes.

They moved towards it

They were shocked… FIRE!!

There was a fire burning in the middle of whatever was behind that door

The flame were getting higher and together the flames where consuming whatever it was upon. What on earth are they burning??

Billy and Mandy looked through a hole to see what it was…. All they could see was a man burning the white lines off the road!!

Slowly they made there was home laughing and joking about what had just happened.

  1. Oh what a jolly piece. I can imagine the horror of seeing flames in that sort of situation. Bless the road workers for doing their jobs away from those crowds!
